More than 300 households and businesses across Aberdeenshire have registered for a government relief fund since it was announced last week.
Payments of £1,500 are being made to people affected by flooding, with the council administering the support from the Scottish Government Relief Fund.
Those who have registered are receiving application forms which need to be completed and submitted, including photographic and/or documentary evidence of the flooding.
The grants are available to households, businesses or community groups, such as rugby clubs.
Only those which were directly affected by the flooding during the period December 4-6, December 29-31 and January 6-8 can apply for the grant.
Extra grant support of £3,000 is also available to businesses which can demonstrate their trade has been severely impacted by the flooding at the beginning of the month.
