Hot Meets Cool and Definitely Meets Maybe are the inspirational themes behind a stunning new creative campaign underlining Aberdeen’s role as a fashion hotspot.
The Bon Accord & St Nicholas centres have rolled out the striking imagery in prominent locations throughout the north-east, showcasing collections and accessories from retailers including River Island, Ted Baker at John Lewis, Topshop, Marks and Spencer, Kurt Geiger, Topman, H&M, Miss Selfridge, Next and Accesorize.
The stylist behind the eye-catching shoot is Kat McSwein, a Scottish fashion expert who has worked in the world of celebrity with stars including Paulo Nutini, Clive Owen and Aleisha Dixon.
Kat said: “Every piece we have used is from Bon Accord & St Nicholas, demonstrating the variety and the quality of the fashion offering at the centres. It has been a great project to work on and everyone is really proud of the results.
“The high street is full of some amazing inspirational designs this year – we have some really strong trends coming through. You won’t go wrong with some monochrome prints, pastel shades or some gorgeous bright jumpsuits. There is definitely a trend to flatter everyone.”
Bon Accord & St Nicholas are at the heart of Aberdeen city centre’s retail sector, offering 460,000 sq ft of prime space and home to more than 70 stores. Scotland’s largest Next store, Aberdeen’s only Topshop and Topman standalone store as well as the city’s largest New Look and River Island stores are among the key retailers.
