The Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the scene on the B9005 between Fyvie and Gight at 1:55pm. An ambulance service spokesman said a male in his 50s had been struck by a car and was receiving treatment on the scene. His current condition is unknown and the road is blocked. A Scottish Ambulance spokesman said: “We are currently dealing with a man who is in a serious condition.” A spokesperson for the police said: “It’s looking serious and the road will be closed for some time and local diversions will be in place.”
