A pensioner reported missing from Shetland may be travelling by motorbike to the south of England.
David Brown from Lerwick was last seen by a friend at about 3.30pm on Wednesday.
It is believed the 68-year-old boarded a Northlink ferry to Aberdeen with his red BMW motorcycle and sidecar.
Police inquiries have found that he could be heading for the Devon or Cornwall area.
He is described as white, about 5ft 7in and of average build with short greying hair.
His was wearing biker clothing and speaks with a south England accent.
A police spokeswoman said: If anyone has seen David or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts, please contact police as a matter of urgency.”
