Two fire engines, police and an ambulance have been called to a crash in Aberdeenshire. Emergency services were called to the incident at 6pm on the A97 outside of the Bognie Arms Hotel in Huntly. The fire service said one vehicle was involved and ambulance staff said they were attending a man in his 30s. Police later said the man had to be cut free from the Peugeot 205. He was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a serious head injury.
