Cheers, jeers and sarcastic shouts from a Highland League crowd really are a cameraman’s worst nightmare.
When Saturday’s Breedon Aggregates Cup final went to the most tense of finishes – a penalty shoot-out – that was exactly what our cameraman had to endure.
With the players just about ready to step up and decide the cup final from 12 yards, P&J cameraman, Struan Robertson, realised he had a job on his hands… He had to make sure his camera was in the right goal.
A desperate dash ensued as Struan repeatedly ran with his camera from one end to the other – putting the camera up three times – before he was eventually assured his equipment was at the right goal.
After running the length of the pitch three times, the supporters soon clocked onto our man’s troubles and sarcastically cheered his running, offering helpful “run, Forrest, run!” shouts.
