A navy helicopter has joined a huge community search for a fisherman who went missing when his crab boat sank off the Western Isles.
The skipper of MFV Louisa Paul Alliston, 42, remains unaccounted for after the boat sank off the coast of Mingulay last weekend.
Fishermen Martin Johnstone, 29, from Caithness and Chris Morrison, 27, from Stornoway died in the tragedy, while fourth crewman Lachlann Armstrong, 27, managed to swim to safety.
Today a navy helicopter, operating in the area, has joined a large community shoreline search.
Searches have been ongoing since the boat sank, with a flotilla of boats, Barra lifeboat, fishing boats, privately owned vessels hundreds of volunteers all joining the search efforts.
