Police in Caithness are appealing for assistance in identifying a woman found on the shore in Caithness yesterday.
A member of the public found the woman at John O’Groats at about 3pm, and raised the alarm with police.
The woman’s identity is not known, but she is described as white, aged in her late 40s to early 50s, medium build with blonde shoulder length hair. She was wearing a dark skirt and burgundy cardigan.
The death is being treated as unexplained and a report is being submitted to the procurator fiscal.
