Police and ambulance crews were called to incident close to the Five Mile Garage on the A944. A police spokeswoman said they received the call at 6.15pm and were heading to the scene. The cyclist collided with a car, police said. “The road is still closed in the meantime but we are hoping it should be open relatively soon, at least in part.” An ambulance service spokesman said a man in his 60s was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with minor injuries. The road was re-opened at about 7.30pm
