A seriously injured man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy Aberdeen road. The accident happened on the city’s King Street, close to the junction with Frederick Street at shortly after 1.30am. Police have urged witnesses to come forward. A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision. “The collision involved a white Seat Toledo motor vehicle. “As a result of the collision a male pedestrian was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. “The male driver of the white Seat Toledo was uninjured.” The road was closed whilst investigations took place but has since re-opened.
