Three Aberdeen organisations have received a cash boost from the Big Lottery Fund.
Ashley Road School, Myasthenia Gravis Association North of Scotland Branch and St Machar Parent Support Project will share a combined grant of £23,516.
Yesterday Aberdeen MSP Kevin Stewart congratulated the groups on winning this latest round of Awards for All funding.
Ashley Road School received £9,506 which will go towards funding for a new outdoor play area; £5,000 of funding was awarded to St Machar Parent Support Project for a four-week activity programme during the summer holidays and; Myasthenia Gravis Association North of Scotland Branch received £9,010 to fund the cost of attending the association’s annual conference.
Mr Stewart said: “It is always brilliant to see local groups awarded lottery funding.
“The folk who have shown initiative and put the work in to winning this funding deserve congratulations.”
