The body of Andrew Livingstone, 71, from Dounby was recovered close to the shore of Loch Boardhouse yesterday afternoon. His brother Stanley Livingstone – also known as Boyd, 68, and also from Dounby remains missing. A search operation in the area is ongoing. A police spokesman said: “Next of kin are being kept updated and request privacy at this difficult time.” The brorthers had set out on a fishing trip on Tuesday afternoon and the alarm was raised on Wednesday morning when they did not return. Their Jeep was found near Nickel Point on the loch and Mr Livingstone’s body was found a short distance away soon after. Their boat was also discovered. Local inspector Alicen Winston earlier said that inquiries are ongoing but said the incident “appears to be a tragic accident”.
