The body of a man has been recovered from a loch in Orkney.
He is yet to be formally identified but the family of Stanley Livingstone has been informed.
Mr Livingstone, 68, who was known as Boyd, has been missing since August 3.
He was reported missing with his brother Andrew Livingstone, 71, after they failed to return to their home in Dounby from a fishing trip to Loch of Boardhouse.
Andrew’s body was recovered from the shoreline shortly after the search was launched
A police spokesman said: “Police in Orkney along with coastguard are currently in attendance at the Loch of Boardhouse area, near Birsay, after the body of a man was recovered following a report from a member of the public shortly before 5pm today, Sunday, August 14.
“The body is yet to be formally identified but the family of Stanley (Boyd) Livingstone, 68, have been made aware.”
