Driver taken to hospital following crash on major north-east road

One man has been taken to hospital following a two car crash on a major north-east road.
The collision between a silver Ford Mondeo and a red Land Rover Discovery took place at about 7pm on the A92 Stonehaven to Montrose road.
The incident occurred at its junction with the A957 Dunnottar to Stonehaven road.
Police, fire and rescue and ambulance services attended the incident.
One man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “It was the A92 just at the junction with the A957 at Dunnottar. We have cleared up, it was nothing serious.
“I think one of the drivers was taken to hospital with very minor injuries, scratches and cuts.”
Two fire teams were called to the crash from Stonehaven.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We were called to the road traffic collision but we weren’t required to do anything other than make the scene safe. We got the call at 7pm.”
