The 29-year-old man has been charged for a breach of the peace after climbing onto the roof of the building. Police taped off Broad Street and Littlejohn Street for several hours this morning while emergency services dealt with the matter. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed they had received a call from the police at around 7.36am. Three units, one from central and two from North Anderson, were sent along with a height vehicle. Firefighters used the height vehicle to bring the man down and he was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution. All roads have now re-opened.
