One note from an old neighbour said: “Julie, you lived for your boys, and wee Lucas, you were a cute, cheeky wee man.” Another note read: “You will be missed Julie. RIP with your wee man Lucas. From all the girls in the darts team.” Messages and cards were also left by the friends and classmates of Lucas. One said: “To Lucas and Julie, RIP. Forever safe in the arms of angels. “Fly high Lucas. Lots of love and hugs.” One message from a little girl simply said: “Lucas, I will miss you at school.” One neighbour of the Walkers said: “My eldest is in school with her oldest son, so I’ve known their whole family for about 10 years. “Julie kept herself to herself, I can’t believe this has happened to her and Lucas. “Lucas was a really lovely little boy, well mannered as well. “He was close to my daughter, they were in the same class at school. “She’s really shocked, and we’re away down to the beach with some flowers later on. “They’re going to be missed by everyone. We’re all absolutely devastated.”
