Warren Kirk was clocked on the A90 Aberdeen-Dundee road, close to Laurencekirk, breaking the speed limit by more than 50mph on February 28. He was riding his blue Suzuki motorbike in moderate traffic – but reduced visibility because of the low setting sun. Yesterday the 49-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted driving dangerously. Kirk, of Kings Gate, Stonehaven, was fined £300 and disqualified for a year.
