Delays are expected on a north-east road following a collision earlier this evening. Emergency services were called to the A947 Aberdeen to Banff road to the south of Oldmeldrum just before 6pm following reports of a crash. A police spokesman said: “There are no further details at this stage as we are not in attendance yet.” Update: The fire service has sent two appliances to the scene, one from Dyce and one from Inverurie. A fire service spokeswoman said: “We are making the scene safe but did not have to get anyone out of their vehicle.” A police spokesman added: “The traffic is moving slowly and there do not appear to be any injuries.”
