We thought we were done for the year but it seems summer has made a triumphant return – for today anyway. And much to the joy of those living in the Granite City, Aberdeen has bagged the title of being the hottest place in Scotland. Dyce reached the hottest at 1.30pm when it hit 25.7C. But others in the Aberdeenshire also enjoyed the hot weather. Fyvie Castle reached 25C while Craibstone recorded 24.6C. In Aboyne temperatures rose to 24C. And the good news is tomorrow is expected to be warm, but temperatures will depend on the cloud cover.
