The vehicle is understood to have left the road at the Port Elphinstone roundabout heading southbound on the A96 between Aberdeen and Inverurie. It happened at about 6.45am. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The slow lane coming off the roundabout on to the A96 heading southbound towards Aberdeen is blocked. “We have arranged vehicle recovery and contacted Aberdeenshire Council regarding the lamppost.” No one has been injured in the crash.
