A man has denied acting in a reckless way by pulling on the handbrake of a moving car and causing it to crash.
Darren Stobie, 26, is alleged to have acted in a “culpable and reckless manner” on February 20 this year by applying the handbrake of a motor being driven by Alesander Tickell.
It is alleged that, as a result of his actions, the car lost control and collided with railings on North Deeside Road.
The case against Stobie, of South Avenue, Cults, was called yesterday at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
He will return to court for trial later this year.
