The call was made from the Denwood area near Eday Road just shortly after 1am after smoke was seen rising from nearby areas. A fire service spokesman said: “We sent one unit along from North Anderson Drive. “The stop message came back from 1.25am.” A police spokeswoman added: “We were alerted by the fire service at around 1.25am.” Anyone with information is urged to contact Police on 101.
