Firefighters were called to a two-storey building in Craigievar Crescent at 10am. Three appliances, two from North Anderson Drive and one from Aberdeen Central, attended but the fire was out on arrival. The woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary suffering from smoke inhalation. A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “The fire was out before they got there. “A female casualty was taken to hospital. “We did not rescue anyone from the building.”
