Picture by Kami Thomson A motorcyclist has died after sustaining fatal injuries when his bike crashed off a busy north-east road. The accident happened on the A98 Banff to Portsoy road near it’s junction with the A95 Cornhill road shortly before 2pm today. The route will remain closed while an investigation carried out. Diversions are in place. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. A police spokesman said: “The road will be closed for some time. Local diversions have been put in place.”
