Whoosh! Bookings are now open for a popular city centre water slide which will be in Aberdeen on Sunday.
The free facility has returned as part of In Town Without My Car Day initiative.
People are being asked to book time slots in advance of the event which will take place in Belmont Street from 10am with the last bookings taken at 3.30pm.
Tickets for the slide were snapped up within two hours of going online last year, so people are advised to book as soon as the booking facility is available.
Conditions include a minimum age restriction of seven years old and participants must wear appropriate clothing which covers their arms and legs as well as sensible footwear while they are on the slide.
A changing area will be available where participants can dry off, but the public has been urged to bring a towel and spare clothes.
Council transport spokesman Ross Grant said: “I’m sure the giant 40-metre-long waterslide will be popular with both children and adults once again this year.
“Although any unfilled slots will be available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day itself, I’d highly recommend registering online in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.”
The fun event will also include scaling a climbing wall, riding weird and wonderful bikes, balance bikes and trikes, stepping inside a giant bubble with Aberdeen Science Centre, and watching Aberdeen University Circus Skills Society demonstrating their juggling talent.
