Thousands of visitors flocked to Aberdeen this weekend to support local businesses at the annual Scottish Home Show.
Now in its 5th year, the weekend-long event showcased hundreds of independent firms, and this year more than 80% of the exhibitors were from the north-east.
Hosted at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the event featured a huge variety of businesses, from BBQ sauce makers to bespoke bathroom manufacturers.
The Dandara-sponsored show drew in so many visitors that Darren Ross, the event’s director, said it was the most popular yet.
Mr Ross said: “We are absolutely delighted to have welcomed so many people to the AECC this holiday weekend, ensuring that our 5th show was the biggest and best yet.
“The event has grown and developed considerably across the past five years – the latter of which have of course brought challenges to the local economy – and we would not be here to celebrate out fifth birthday without the help and support of so many local businesses.
“From sponsors to exhibitors, to every visitor who has passed through these doors since our launch in 2012 – and not forgetting our partners and suppliers – we would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your support.
“Based on the positive feedback that we have had across the past three days, coupled with the number of exhibitors who have already signed up for 2017, we are already looking forward to seeing you all again next year.”
