Two men have appeared in court after hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs were recovered.
Police arrested Aberdeen men Daniel Adams and Mark Russell on Friday after cannabis resin with a street value of £300,000 was seized by officers from the specialist crime division in Aberdeen and Glasgow.
The duo were picked up in the Cumbernauld area and appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
Adams, 24 and Russell, 25, made no plea when they appeared in private before Sheriff Christine McCrossan.
Both are accused of being concerned in supply of the Class B drug, while Adams is also facing charges of failing to report serious organised crime and money laundering.
Adams was remanded in custody while Russell was released on bail.
It is expected the pair will appear in court again in one week.
