The 35-year-old taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after being struck by a Blue Volkswagen Golf at around 3pm yesterday afternoon. The driver of the Golf was uninjured. The crash happened on the on the A957 Stonehaven to Banchory road, close to Bervie Braes. Police closed the road in both directions for more than four hours following the incident. It was reopened at around 7.20pm. A spokeswoman for the police said: “Her injuries could still be life-changing, but would appear at this point to not be life-threatening.” Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision who have not already come forward to contact the force on 101.
