Crews called to house fire in north-east town

Fire crews were called to a house blaze in Stonehaven this evening.

The fire took hold at a property in Farrochie Park at about 5.40pm.

Two appliances from the town, with 14 firefighters on board, were needed at the scene.

The crews used hosereel jets, breathing apparatus and a ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.

No one was injured or had to be evacuated from the house.

Crews are preparing to leave the scene.
