Officers have launched an appeal for witnesses after a north-east caravan went up in a blaze by the A92.
The caravan was situated next the The Country Kitchen burger van on the route, just north of Gourdon, Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the fire on Tuesday, September 20, just before 7.30pm.
Fire services attended from Laurencekirk and Inverbervie, using a hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to combat the blaze.
The caravan was unoccupied and no one was injured as a result of the fire.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Anyone with information in relation to this is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.”
