Officers say a “significant quantity of jewellery” was taken, leaving the householders shaken by their ordeal. The incident is believed to have happened between 10am on Saturday October 1 and 12.15am on Sunday. During the breaking a number of household items were also taken from the property in the Cameron Crescent area of Buckie. Investigating Officer Constable Joe Jacques said: “This is a deplorable act and the householders have been left shaken by this ordeal. “Amongst the property stolen from the address are engagement rings and family heirlooms passed down through generations. “These items are considered irreplaceable due to the sentimental value they hold. “Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
