Daring individuals are being invited to walk across hot coals to help raise funds for people with learning difficulties in the north-east.
The charity, Inspire, will host its annual fundraising firewalk at Queen’s Links on Saturday, November 5 as part of the city’s pyrotechnic display.
And fundraiser, Andrew Reid, has urged people to get involved in the initiative.
He said: “We’ve already got a number of people registered to take part this year, but there’s still time for people to sign up for what is always a great event.
“It’s an exciting challenge, and all sponsorship raised goes towards our innovative range of services, which make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.”
Registration costs £20 and every participant is asked to generate at least £100 in sponsorship money.
To sign up, call 01224 280005 or email andrew.reid@inspiremail.org.uk.
