Firefighters called to large fire at north-east home

Firefighters were this evening called to a large blaze at a north-east home.

The fire broke out at the property in the Dunnydeer View area of Insch shortly before 6.20pm.

Crews tackled the blaze for more than an hour with the stop message coming back at around 7.20pm.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We have four appliances there so it’s fairly sizable.”
