An Aberdeen post office will relocate today as part of a national move to cut costs.
The Union Street Post Office will move into to the nearby WHSmith store.
It is one of a number of the bigger “crown” offices being shifted into the chain’s premises, but will still run by the post office.
Existing staff are moving to the new location and the services on offer should not change, a spokeswoman said.
The new branch has four counters and two self-service kiosks. It will be open from 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday (9.30am opening on Tuesdays) and 9am-12.30pm on Saturdays.
