Two schoolboys charged with having a knife at Aberdeen school

Two schoolboys have been charged with having a knife at an Aberdeen school.
The incident occurred at a city secondary school, which can not be named for legal reasons, on September 30. It is understood the weapon involved was a lock knife.
Police Scotland confirmed the two boys, aged 12 and 14, have been charged and reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman would not go into detail about the alleged incident or say whether the youngsters have been suspended or expelled from the school.
