A man has denied flashing at children at a busy north-east swimming pool.
Alexander Shepherd appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to face two charges of indecent exposure.
It is alleged the 60-year-old flashed at children under 13 on two occasions at Stonehaven’s open air swimming pool.
Court papers stated that, on August 6 and 17 this year, Shepherd, of Bedford Road, Aberdeen, went to the baths and exposed himself “in a sexual manner” to young boys.
He also faces a third charge, alleging he “engaged in a sexual activity” while in the presence of two boys, aged under 13, at the swimming pool on June 26 this year.
He will go on trial in January.
One of the alleged incidents was reported by a couple visiting the north-east from Tayside.
They had taken their children to Stonehaven for a day out and went to the Aberdeenshire Council-owned pool.
The husband became concerned by the behaviour of a man who spent a long time in the changing room area.
