Two Aberdeen policing teams will merge by the end of the month as part of ongoing efforts to crack down on crime.
The City Centre and Rosemount community policing teams (CPT) will join forces by October 31.
It is understood that staff numbers will remain the same.
They two teams will be led by Inspectors Lorna Ferguson and David Howieson.
A police statement read: “The City Centre CPT will merge with Rosemount PT at the end of October.
“Inspectors Ferguson and Howieson will lead the teams in both areas and staffing numbers should remain to cover the demand that both these busy areas of the city dictates.”
