A man has appeared in court in connection with two break-ins to properties in Aberdeen city centre.
Police were called out to the addresses near Pittodrie and the Spital last Friday where they discovered personal items, including electrical goods and jewellery, had been taken.
Yesterday, Kristopher Simpson appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, accused of theft by housebreaking.
The 39-year-old made no plea when he appeared before Sheriff Margaret Hodge.
His case was continued for further examination and he was released on bail.
He is expected to appeared in court again within the week.
