An investigation into how a toddler fell four storeys from an Aberdeen flat has concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.
Emergency crews were called to the scene in the Balnagask area of the city at 1.30pm on Monday after the boy fell from the building.
Ambulance staff treated the toddler at the scene before rushing him to Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. He was later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he was treated for serious injuries.
A police spokesman said the boy remains in a stable condition in hospital.
He added: “Police Scotland can confirm that the investigation into an accident involving a two-year-old child falling from a window in the Balnagask area of Torry on Monday October 31 has concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.”
