Police have appealed for information to trace a man who went missing in Aberdeenshire five days ago.
Peter Edwards, 65, was last seen getting off a bus in Stonehaven at 3.20pm on Tuesday.
He was sighted boarding the bus in Aberdeen at 2pm after leaving his home in Scone in Perth and Kinross.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers investigating the disappearance of Peter Edwards continue to have significant concerns for his wellbeing and desperately seek assistance from the public to trace him.
“Given the passage of time since Peter went missing – and the lack of sightings during that time – there are real concerns for his welfare and officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.”
Mr Edwards is described as being 5ft 9in, with balding hair, a grey beard and sideburns and gold rimmed glasses.
He speaks with an American accent. When last seen he was wearing a long-sleeved grey shirt, black tank top jumper, tie, grey trousers and black leather shoes.
