The warning, meaning be aware, is active from noon until 9am on Wednesday. Forecasters say areas of Aberdeenshire along with southern areas of Moray could be affected by the snowfall. The Met Office Chief Forecaster said: “Please be aware of the risk of difficult driving conditions in some areas. “A band of rain spreading slowly in will turn to snow as it encounters cold air. “Whilst this will be mainly on high ground, and heavier bursts could easily bring snow down to low levels.” There’s frost & hill snow forecast for later this week – be sure to follow @PolScotRoadsNE for the road conditions in Grampian. #ABZTravel — NorthEastPolice (@NorthEPolice) November 7, 2016 Yellow Alert of Snow for Grampian https://t.co/ECOGhiKGX9 — Met Office warnings (@metofficeNEScot) November 7, 2016
