War veterans will be given free bus travel this weekend to mark Remembrance Sunday.
First Aberdeen is offering concessions to armed forces personnel past and present, as well as other customers wearing poppies and travelling to memorial services.
The firm has decided to introduce the offer to make it easier for people to attend Remembrance events across the city.
Their decision has been welcomed by armed forces charity Legion Scotland.
Kevin Gray is the charity’s chief executive and is an ex-serviceman who was awarded the Military Medal.
He said: “Everyone has a connection to the armed forces, be it through great grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters or friends.
“We thank First Aberdeen for offering this free journey to the public who are travelling in order to pay tribute to and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country, sacrifices we must never forget.”
The firm has said it is honoured to pay tribute to those who have died in conflict.
Daniel Laird, commercial manager, said: “This is an important day for many people who want to remember family, friends and others who have been lost in military service.
“We are pleased to be supporting the occasion and want to make it as easy as possible for people to attend the events taking place across the city.”
