A teenager sustained facial fractures after being assault in Aberdeen.
The 18-year-old male was attacked at about 1am on Sunday, October 3 at Bon Accord Terrace, near to its junction with Langstane Place.
A police spokesman said the teenager will require further medical treatment for his injuries.
The suspect is described as being a male in his twenties, about 6 foot in height, of broad build with short dark hair and wearing dark clothing. He was in the company of a female with long hair and it is believed he had been drinking within Aberdeen City Centre that night.
Constable Grant Hardie, who is leading the inquiry, said: “The person responsible for this crime has assaulted the victim in what appears to be unprovoked attack, which has left the victim with injuries requiring further medical attention. I would urge anyone who has any information relating to this incident to make contact with the police.”
