Officers are appealing for witnesses following the raids in Stonehaven and Durris in the early hours of Friday, November 4. Some of the garages were left unlocked. Police are also investigating a housebreaking at a remote property in the Drumoak area between 6.10am-6.30pm on Monday. Personal items worth about £5,000 were stolen. Sergeant Rob Smith said: “We are appealing to anyone who has seen anything suspicious around the times stated to get in touch with us. “In addition, we would urge homeowners to remain vigilant and secure their property when possible and instal suitable security.” Police have urged anyone with information on the thefts to contact them on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
