Home water supplies disrupted in Aberdeenshire

Residents in Aberdeenshire have reported problems with their water supplies this evening.

Scottish Water has launched an investigation after learning of issues in parts of the the Westhill, Kirkton, Garioch and Formartine areas.

In some areas, water supplies have been lost.

A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “We have reports of loss of water supply, low pressure and discoloured water from the area.

“This is currently under investigation and we hope to have supplies restored as quickly as possible.

“We will update this message as soon as information becomes available to us.”
