People across the north-east were feeling the chill this morning as temperatures in some areas dropped as low as -5C.
Areas of Aberdeenshire faced the cold conditions this morning with many being left to defrost their cars before heading out to work.
The Press and Journal revealed yesterday how a north-east road had to blocked off after heavy snowfall meant the gates of the B947 route had to be closed.
Fortunately, the Met Office say the cold patch is set to taper off throughout the morning with good sunny sells and intermittent spells of rain bringing temperatures to a maximum of 9C.
