Woman found dead in Aberdeen flat

A woman has been found dead in an Aberdeen flat.

Police were called to the scene at Virginia Court, near the city’s Castlegate, yesterday.

The woman is thought to be a pensioner.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are at an early stage.”
