A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a disturbance in Aberdeen.
Police were called out to Menzies Road in Torry at around 2am and a cordon was put around the area.
A police spokeswoman said it was “an isolated incident” which is being investigated.
PC Kevin Souter, from the Aberdeen Divisional Alcohol and Violence Unit, said: “We would like to thank the local community for their patience while this incident was dealt with.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to stress that this was a contained and isolated incident, and that at no point was there any threat posed to any other members of the public.
