Four appliances were called to a house on the North Deeside Road, in Milltimber, just after 4pm. Crews used two hose reel jets and breathing apparatuses to bring the fire under control. Two crews remained damping it down until 7pm.. A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “It was a dwelling fire, they had four appliances in attendance. It was a dwelling of two floors, 20m by 20m. “The fire was well developed on the first floor. We started off by using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets. “The initial call came in at 4.05pm. The stop message came back at 5.16pm.” She said there had been no rescues and no one is believed to have been injured. A police spokesman said they had been called to help with traffic issues as the fire appliances had blocked part of the road. He added the force was “only there to assist”.
