Olly Murs to perform in Inverness as part of his 24 HRS Tour
Former X Factor star Olly Murs is to return to the north next year for a set of special outdoor performances.
The Heart Skips a Beat singer will perform in the Granite City at a specially constructed outdoor arena at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on July 21.
The stage, which will be similar to the one constructed for Elton John, will play host to Olly as he undertakes a 20-date outdoor tour of the UK next summer.
The following night, he will perform at Bught Park, Inverness, as part of Live in the City.
Production Manager Bob Reid of LCC, the company behind the event, welcomed the news.
He said: “We’re delighted to confirm that Olly Murs will play in Inverness in July. He’s a great entertainer and will have everyone on their feet for an evening of music under the stars in Inverness.
“Olly Murs is the second artist to confirm an Inverness show in the summer, joining The Beach Boys in our Live in the City line-up. It’s going to be a superb summer of music in Inverness and we hope you can join us.”
